As a reminder, it was with the aim of supporting two professional photographers in the conception and realization of a quality photographic project, that the UPP organized this free, open-themed competition.

On Tuesday September 12, a jury composed of Philippe Bachelier (photojournalist, author and teacher at Spéos), Florine Garcin (in charge of communication & cultural action at SAIF), Marie Valat (Founder of Marie Valat Agency), Salomé d'Ornano (Director of Echo 119 gallery), Thomas Consani (traditional black & white printer at Picto), Alain Escourbiac (Managing Director of Escourbiac l'imprimeur), Emmanuelle Halkin (curator, freelance editor and member of the FETART artistic committee) deliberated and awarded the two prizes.

The first prize for a UPP member photographer, Antoine Martin, worth €4000. The second for a non-member photographer, Edoardo De Ruggiero, in the amount of 2000€.

The aim of these grants is to help the winners produce their subject and present it at a joint exhibition to be held in 2025 at the Maison des photographes, UPP's headquarters.

The two Laureates succeed Vincent Catala and Juliette Pavy, Laureates for 2023.
