Born in 1962, Pascal set up as a photographer in 1987. His interest in nature led him to spend 6 years in Quebec from 1992 to 1998. From Madeleine Island to Hudson Bay, he built up a bank of images rich in diversity and experience. In 1998, he returned to Alençon, where he worked on guidebooks about Canada and Quebec with various publishers.

An active member of UPC (l'union des Photographes Créateurs) since its inception, he was elected to the board of directors in 2001. In 2004, he played a key role in securing exemption from the taxe professionnelle (business tax) for author-photographers. He organized the "famous" Alençon congress in 2005. For 3 days, the prefecture of the Orne department became the capital of photography, with prestigious guests.
Canada again, with the inauguration of the Museum of French Immigration to Canada, and the "Canada, Life Size" exhibition in 2006. Concerned about his community and its promotion, he created the "Photographer of the Year" competition for professionals in 2009.

The "Profession photographe" magazine was born in 2012. There are now 6 issues a year. Moving to Le Mans the same year, he creates the "Le 72" photography space. 2014, First edition of the 72 heures de la photographie at the Abbaye de l'Epau. Since moving to Bellême in the Orne region, he has created "Le Festival de photographie de Bellême" and has been artistic director of the Cholet and Dax Festivals. Passionate about wood, forests and sustainable development, he launched the PANDO magazine, which stopped after 4 issues. A great idea, but one that came up against a peculiar period and a certain general inertia and apathy.

Enjoy your listening.
